Hi everyone and welcome back to SomPodcast's blog. This week we are headed to Nevada for episode 6 of our podcast.
Amber's Story:
On January 20, 1867, the body of Julia Bulette would be discovered by her friend Gertrude. Julia was well known around the area of Virginia City as she was the cities most well known and liked "prostitute". Julia was spent her time devoted to helping the city in its times of need opening her house to the sick and hungry during influenza out breaks and donating money to help her local fire department. So when her body was discovered on that cold morning the whole community was at a lose on who could have committed such a evil deed.

Celina's Story
In October of 1990, Henderson, Nevada would experience a triple homicide. Joe Smith was the number one suspect as he was on the run from the law. The bodies of Mr. Smith's wife and two step daughters was found in the home he and his family was staying in. All three had been beaten to death by a hammer. Mr. Smith left a note swearing that he was innocent and that he knew who the killers where. Follow Celina as she share the story of how Joe Smith was captured and convicted of this crime.
