Utah: Oakley and Ogden

Welcome back to our fifth blog post for State of Murder podcast. This week we traveled are traveling to Utah where you will hear about two sets of murders. Amber's Story: During the Christmas season in 1990 the Tiede family made their way up to their family cabin located in Oakley, Utah. The family would join together with their extended family during the holidays to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation for the holidays. However this Christmas was different as two men having broke their parole by leaving their halfway house would end up robbing and murdering two members of the family, while taking the daughters hostage. Join us as we learn about the Tiede family and the strength they showed in surviving this harrowing experience.. While most of the men where robbing the story, two of the men took the hostages down into the basement. Taking their lead from a television show they had watched the two men would torture their hostages, hoping to kill them quickly. When that didn't work they went to further extremes.
